Very amazing story! Elder T. explained "Here is Elder Merkley. He had cancer and was given the option of having a series of surgeries over 2 years, therefore pushing the mission back or getting his leg amputated so that he could go on his mission on time. So he literally gave his leg for his mission. What an inspiration."
The MTC is lucky to have one of the worlds greatest vacuumers on hand! Not that you can tell from this picture but I miss his perfect lines on my carpet.
Just had to share this. It made me smile when I realized the twins sent me pretty much the exact same picture of themselves.
